It was great to collaborate with Sean and Andrea from Killer Sprocket in our first interstate partnership! Every Beerkary we are excited to be matching and trying new things, and this time new products included the roasted sweet potato, new brioche roll, and the grilled apple and juniper “beerclair” matching to the Hey Juniper beer.
In its first year, Beer Incider was a great achievement by Marty and his team, and we hope to see it as an ongoing annual event.
This was also our first setting in a beer festival and in a market setting with other great food vendors. I found the dynamics of customers to be quite different in this setting, with more to sample, and people probably staying longer in a more relaxed longer sessions. The feeling during service was less intense compared to our past small bar events, that seem shorter and faster, and I also took away many lessons about things like signage, visual display and selling.
